At Redwood Childcare we take a holistic approach to the well being of our babies and children. We focus on providing outstanding care in a safe and stimulating learning environment. During their early years, children learn through a combination of natural play and careful education. By combining education, play, stimulation and relaxation in a caring, comfortable and safe environment we help children develop life long skills that help encourage learning in later life. We are dedicated to ensuring your baby or child is happy and healthy during their time with us.

Community

We recognise the importance of family and the community to a child’s well being and here at Redwood Childcare we are fortunate to not only be surrounded by but be a part of a wonderful community. Surrounding the Nursery we have access to a variety of green spaces and parks.  Our children regularly access the environment surrounding the Nursery and are often taken for walks in the community. We have good links with all the local primary schools and have developed excellent relations with the local businesses. Our children are visitors to the local nursing home where they go to entertain the residents with singing and dancing.

Partnership Working

We have successful working relationships with many professionals across a range of settings and agencies, which helps us ensure that the quality of care, education and support that the children receive is of the highest standard.

We have a highly effective partnership working with families which results in the sustained high-quality provision for all our children. Families are made to feel very welcome and play an active role in the life of the setting. Our strong partnerships with parents/carers increase family engagement in children’s development and learning which impacts positively on the progress children make. We welcome your contributions to your child’s learning journals, sharing significant events and observations from their home life.
