Deposit

Before starting at the nursery a deposit of £100 is required to secure your child’s place.  This will be fully refundable if you hand in the required four weeks’ notice at the end of your child’s time with us.

Fees

All fees are due at the start of each month.  A current nursery fee chart is provided in our Parent Information Pack which is available on request by email, telephone or when you come along to view the nursery.  Visiting the nursery will give you a personal opportunity to view all the playrooms and outdoor space, meet the staff in each room and have the chance to discuss individual requirements for your child with the manager.

A 10% discount is available for families with more than one child attending the nursery. This is deducted from the eldest child’s fees.

Childcare Funding from South Lanarkshire Council

Once your child turns three years old they may be eligible to receive funding from South Lanarkshire Council, starting the term after their 3rd birthday (terms start August, January and March/April). The nursery will provide the appropriate form at the relevant time for you should you wish to apply.  If your funding application is successful, the funding will be deducted from your monthly invoice. For further information regarding eligibility and exact dates, please see link below:

Childcare Voucher Schemes

The Childcare Voucher scheme is organised and run by HM Revenue and Customs.  It enables you to pay up to £243.00 per month towards childcare costs from your wages before tax is paid.  You need to request an information pack from your employer if this is something you are interested in. Redwood Childcare is already registered with most voucher schemes, however, if your company uses a different voucher provider we will be more than happy to register with them.  We are happy to answer any questions you have regarding this.

Tax-Free Childcare

Tax-Free Childcare is a new government scheme to help working parents with the cost of childcare. Parents of the youngest children can now open an online account, which they can use to pay for childcare from a registered provider. For every £8 a parent pays in, the government will pay in an extra £2. Parents can receive up to £2,000 per child, per year, towards their childcare costs, or £4,000 for disabled children. To qualify, parents will have to be in work, and each expecting to earn at least £120 a week. Each parent must not have income over £100,000 per year
